Many people find that while talking about their emotions is helpful, it doesn’t always lead to the deep, lasting change they’re looking for. That’s where Somatic Experiencing comes in.
I’m an Advanced Trainee Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Parent Coach and NLP Practitioner dedicated to supporting individuals in healing and reconnecting with their true selves. With over five years of experience, I offer a blend of somatic experiencing therapy and practical coaching tools, both online and in person from my private practice in Tynemouth.

Rooted in Somatic Experiencing®, my work helps you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and build emotional resilience. ​Although I’m based in North Tyneside, I offer remote Somatic Experiencing therapy to clients worldwide, including London, so you can receive healing from wherever you are. It’s an honour to join people on their healing journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with clients from all over the world.

HAPPY ME SOMATIC THERAPY
At Happy Me Somatic Therapy, I take a holistic approach to healing - mind, body and spirit. Sessions focus on the mind-body connection to help clients release stress and tension from the body, enabling them to feel more grounded and connected to themselves. My trauma-informed approach ensures that I provide a safe and supportive space for clients who are working through difficult emotions and experiences. I work collaboratively with clients, drawing on a variety of techniques to create customised treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Somatic Experiencing
​
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-based approach to healing trauma, stress, and emotional wounds. It helps release stored traumatic shock in the body and transforms PTSD and early childhood trauma by addressing stuck fight, flight, or freeze responses. SE uses simple, effective techniques to activate the body’s self-healing systems, similar to how the body heals broken bones.
As a trainee Somatic Experiencing practitioner, I am dedicated to helping people heal by connecting with their bodies and regulating their nervous systems in a safe, supportive space. I guide clients in developing self-awareness, exploring emotions, and building new coping strategies.

Parent Coaching
Since qualifying as a parenting coach in 2018, I’ve been offering tailored coaching services to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children. As a stay-at-home mom to two young children with a 22-month age gap, I understand the struggles firsthand.
Through my own parenting journey, I found peace, contentment, and presence—experiences I now help others achieve. I empower parents with tools to build healthy relationships and promote positive behavior at every stage of their child’s development.
I offer a somatic approach to coaching, guiding parents to connect with their emotional landscape, self-regulate, and track their sensations. This helps them co-regulate with their children, fostering strong, lasting connections.

Mentoring
As an experienced parent coach and mentor, I can help guide you through tough times and offer personalized advice. Whether that be in your own parenting, building your parent coach business or you want support with your client case load. Additionally, as I was one of the UK's first parent coaches to train with the Jai Institute of Parenting I also offer mentorship to other parent coaches and those interested in pursuing this career path.
