If talk therapy hasn’t been enough…
If you feel stuck in anxiety, rage, numbness, or burnout…
If you’re always in your head, but still overwhelmed…
There’s a reason.
Your body is trying to protect you.
What is Somatic Experiencing?
Somatic Experiencing® (SE) is a body-based therapy developed by Dr. Peter Levine. It works with the nervous system and not just the mind to gently release stored survival responses like fight, flight, and freeze.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, SE helps you feel safe in your body again, without needing to relive the past. It supports healing at the root - not just symptom management.
This work may help if you’re experiencing:
-
Chronic anxiety or emotional overwhelm
-
Shutdown, disconnection, or numbness
-
Burnout, insomnia, or adrenal fatigue
-
Triggers that feel bigger than the situation
-
Unresolved trauma, grief, or abuse
-
Parenting challenges that activate your own wounds
-
The effects of developmental or relational trauma
-
Feeling like you’re “too much” or “never enough”
How I work:
My approach is trauma-informed, slow-paced, and consent-led. In sessions, we gently track sensation, emotion, and impulses — never pushing beyond what your nervous system can safely process.
I believe in the core principles of SE:
Slower is faster. Less is more. Your body knows the way.
